No more need for post offices. No wonder so many don't use them anymore.
Terrible hours and of all things they CLOSE for "lunch". What is this 1860?
Pretty sad when they won't even give you a small piece of tape to mail a small box. You have to purchase a whole roll for 3.49 that is the same as a dollar tree size.
Exact reason they are not doing well now.
Post office is small. It has only one person behind counter normally, they have all been pleasant. Parking is minimal. Go here instead of the big, crowded PO in Dover.
I love handling business at the Cheswold Post Office. Staff is friendly, courteous, and efficient--just as it should be! I live in downtown Dover but drive out of my way to Cheswold because going to the post office there is always a pleasant experience. In fact, I even have a PO Box there, in spite of the fact that I live in walking distance of another post office!
Small little post office, usually one or two people working here.
They do close for lunch.
